How it works

On your phone, or on your computer

On your phone

iPhone and Android. One coin at a time, right where you are.

  1. 1

    Photograph the obverse

Open NumisPair and take the obverse. A plain grey cloth works well.

  2. 2

    Then the reverse

The camera opens again. Turn the coin over in the same spot and take the reverse.

  3. 3

    Tap Combine

The background is removed, both sides are matched in size, and the image is saved to your Photos.

On your computer

Mac and Windows. Use photos from your phone or any camera.

  1. 1

    Drag and drop two photos

Drop the obverse and reverse photos onto the NumisPair icon. The combined image appears next to your photos.

  2. 2

    Or select a whole shoot

For bulk processing, select a folder or a batch of photos. NumisPair pairs each obverse with its reverse, in the order they were taken.

  3. 3

    Review, then process

Check the pairs, fix any mix-ups and name each coin by SKU. Then every coin is processed in one go.

Real results

Made from ordinary photos

Every image below came from two quick photos on cloth, wood or paper. Nothing was edited by hand.

Who it's for

Built for people who list coins

Online sellers

Consistent, clean images for eBay, VCoins and your own shop. Name each image by SKU, and choose a white or black background, or keep your own.

Dealers

The desktop app handles a whole shoot at once: it pairs the photos, names each coin by SKU and processes the batch.

Collectors

Keep a tidy record of your collection, with both sides of every coin in one image.

Your photos are processed on your own phone or computer. They are never uploaded.

Identify a coin

Not sure what the coin is?

Drop in your combined NumisPair image, or a photo of each side, and NumisPairIdentify names the coin: issuer, ruler, denomination, date, mint and catalogue references, along with how sure it is. Your first 10 Identifications are free, and every paid version of NumisPair includes more.

Try it on your next coin

Your first 50 coins are free on every version.
